An all black and white affair

I had been yearning to shoot a wedding strictly in black and white for a while. And my friend’s wedding presented a perfect opportunity to do that. In Ted Grant’s words, When you photograph people in color you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in B&W, you photograph their souls!

I was able to make it for the ceremony with my camera and an 80-200mm 2.8 lens. I wanted to take it on a test run. It quite dissapointed me and swore to never carry it again. Thank God it ain’t mine, a photographer friend of mine lent it to me to have a feel of it.

The groomsmen were very energetic. It was that kind of wedding full of energy and left everyone smiling. Well, that was just the beginning.

And then it was time for the groom to come in. He came in worshiping the Lord, too amazing.

And then the bride strolled in, her parents by her side.

These two were deeply in love with each other. It was amazing how they both were in sync.

I loved how i was able to capture emotion between these two. And that’s something i am focusing on. Capturing emotion in a beautiful way.

I loved the way the sun made her gown glow. Too precious.

And she blushed just a little bit.And they crowned the moment together 😀

Congratulations to you both. Unfortunately i had to leave as i had other commitments. I did this for free as it was an experiment at the same time. It went great actually.

I have been booked on the 8th and 29th of December for now (with possibilities for 14th and 22nd pending confirmations) so if interested in my services for wedding photography, you may get in touch with me through info@localhost/test.

Stay blessed.
