I did this wedding a while back, and by that i mean a year and a half ago. Ladies and gentlemen, i present to you Edward and Carol.
The beautiful ceremony was happening at the famous Enashipai hotel in Naivaisha. This was not my first time there though so i was quite familiar with the place.
The hotel is pretty big so they utilize golf carts to carry luggage and guests around. Yes, the bride was a guest too 🙂
Normally after I have met the couple and them having reserved the date, i like to brief them on some do’s and things to avoid at their wedding. They really took my advice well.
Let us solidify those vows shall we?
I really love it when the bride and groom have their own moment and get caught up in their own world. Those are moments i really like to look for during the ceremony.
And it was a wrap. More celebration time.
We then did a brief photo session at the grounds. The positioning of the sun as at that moment was not bad at all so i decided to utilize the ambient lighting it provided while i could.
The running and jumping shot may have become quite cliche. I have to admit though that i loved how the bridal party nailed it. They hinted the idea and i went with it. I tend to welcome ideas from anyone really. The variety you can achieve from those ideas are quite diverse.
I thought we were done with the jumping. Well, not just yet people.
Naivasha can get cold. I love the fresh air from there but the cold did not spare us that day. On the events leading to the cake cutting, the bride was freezing but as you can see, the groom was kind enough to lend her his blazer. Nothing but love right there.
We finally headed near the lake for the final photo session. I would actually say the weather at that time was perfect. The sun was setting meaning i pretty much was going to call the shots on lighting.
I had seen the waterfall earlier in the day and wanted to use it at night. It provided for a really nice backdrop.
Hope you enjoyed the post. Blessed week everyone.
