I met this wonderful couple at Kempinski, where their photo session and reception was going to be. In other words, it meant they had already made up their mind and that was a score for me.
I am a lover of reflections. I use every chance to shoot through reflections whenever i get a chance.
The Jubilation that filled the air was real that I almost joined in, but i was there to capture that instead 🙂
Sometimes i do get lucky to get the bride enter the car. This was one of those times. I had no glare to fight so getting crisp shots was a no brainer.
We then headed to church to make things official.
Silas was looking forward to this moment, and indeed he was pleased to see her.
And it was finally official 🙂
At this moment, i always start preparing my mind for the main session: The photo session. So the immediate group photos at the church is usually the responsibility of my second photographer.
This was my first time to shoot at Kempinski. So it was definitely a thrilling experience for me. I am always particular about my lighting during the photo session, natural light does not really work for me, unless of course, the couple would want it.
I direct and pose the bridal team unless otherwise. Suggestions too are usually welcome.
I didn’t shoot much of the couple as we were going to have a second session in the evening.
Decor gets me. I remember walking into the reception area and i was dumbstruck. I loved the decor, done by All Divas Weddings. Check them out for all your wedding needs, you will be impressed.
And my favorite part finally reached, cake cutting :-).
The wedding was finally over, not so much for the shoot. At around 2000hrs, we embarked on the final shoot.
Kempinski has quite the ambient lighting for a shoot, i made sure i captured that too.
August is here with us. Looking forward to blog more weddings.
